Absolutely superb place for tapas, wine and atmosphere. By far the busiest place we saw in Merida and for a reason. Incredible busy staff who saw us right.

The food was delicious ! They have tapas here which is the small but let’s you try the meat ! Best meat I’ve had so far In Spain . The plates are big and get you full all day ! I recommend it, so much variety here ! And many seats available .
Excellent service and food. Outdoor sitting in October is extremely comfortable. Must come and enjoy

Good food
Solo estuvimos tomando unas cañas, pero nos gustó mucho. Los pinchos de pestorejo estaban deliciosos, y el personal nos atendió de forma muy correcta, se les veía muy organizados. Como único punto negativo, el baño de mujeres estaba bastante sucio. Nuestra experiencia fue en general ha sido buena, volveremos a comer ahí.

Fue un acierto total, fuimos por recomendación de personas de la zona y nos encantó. No teniamos reserva y la cola parecía grande pero no esperamos más de 10 minutos. La comida muy buena y las camareras muy simpáticas y atentas. El pestorejo, muy rico.

We visited El Pestorejo and the service was very good, especially from the lady who served us, always friendly and attentive. The place is nice, comfortable, and has a pleasant atmosphere. I asked the lady if we could share this dish between three people, and she said yes, but the amount seemed a bit small to share. The quality and flavor were okay, but next time we'll definitely order one for each person to be satisfied.

Aunque solo hemos desayunado, el lugar tiene buena pinta. Pegado a la plaza, con una gran terraza exterior con sillas cómodas. Las tostadas( siempre medias porque son grandes) bien resueltas y tostadas, no llegan frías ni chiclosas. Desayuno de 4 personas con sus tostadas, menos de 13€. Brutal!!!

El Pestorejo is my favorite spot in Merida. Whenever I go on vacation, I try to stay near Merida so I can have dinner or lunch there.
